Love is the doorway through which the human soul passes from selfishness to service.
This morning Pastor Charles McKenney will speak about “The Power of God’s Love.” ‘It Is a Love Thing.” He reads from the book of Deuteronomy 7:7-9. As well as from the book of Romans 5:7-11. Not only does God’s love supersede other types of love. But it transcends.
Today on Missionary Sunday, Pastor Cynthia Dunbar is the speaker. Her texts are Genesis 22:1-18 as well as Hebrews 6:13-18. Firstly, Pastor Dunbar gives her testimony. Because it ties in with the message. Now listen to how our sacrifice relates to what we are go through.
In his message, Elder Lawrence speaks from Acts 9:1-13. His focus is, if God turned it around for Saul. If He also turned it around for Hezekiah. Then, without a doubt, He can turn it around for you!. Henceforth his topic: “God, Turn It Around.”
“In biblical thinking: genuine love exists only when good works are done in a context
where God rather than the doer gets the credit.”
Elder Wayne Lawrence continues with the theme. If we are to see God move, we must open our spiritual eyes. Because God wants to bless us. His text comes from 2 Kings 6:8-17.
Elder Wayne Lawrence concludes with this thought. Before your eyes can be open, you must allow God to clean you up!
Elder Wayne Lawrence’s message: “Lord, Lay Your Hands on Me.” His scriptural text comes from Acts 9:1-13. The Lord turned it around for Saul. He also turned it around for Hezekiah. Without a doubt, He will do it for you. Only, if you go to Him and let Him work it out.
If we have got the true love of Goad shed abroad in our hearts.
Then we will show it in our lives.
We will show it in everything we say and do.
“Loving others isn’t about us at all. And until that sinks in: we will never be able
to love the way Christ truly loved.”
